Spore: Galactic Adventures is an expansion pack for the 2008 life simulation and strategy game, Spore. Developed by Electronic Arts Maxis, this full version game is available for Windows and falls under the category of action games. The gameplay of Spore: Galactic Adventures is similar to the original game, where you create and guide a species through five stages of evolution. However, the expansion pack mainly affects the Space stage of the game.

The most significant feature of this expansion pack is the introduction of Adventures, which are special missions played in a third-person perspective. These missions are available as quests given by alien NPCs or from the main menu. In each mission, you play as the captain of your spacecraft and can customize it in the Captain Outfitter menu. You can create new cosmetic items, weapons, tools, and social items that alter your attacks, movement, special abilities, or social skills. The Adventure Creator offers a wide range of tools to change the terrain, add new enemies, NPCs, tasks, and interactive objects. This expansion pack focuses mostly on giving the player the ability to create their missions and share them with other players.
